The City of Westerville will be hosting the SPRING Hazardous Waste Collections scheduled in 2020 at the City's Public Service Complex. Questions regarding this event should be directed to the Department of Public Service, 901-6740 or publicservice@westerville.org.

The spring Household Hazardous Waste collection has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the Public Service Department, 350 Park Meadow Rd., from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Please note that shredding services will NOT be offered at this event. 

 
Due to the ongoing public health implications of COVID-19, staff will wear masks and limit contact this year. To help protect the safety of event staff, please consider wearing a mask when dropping off items. Thank you.

  • Thinner/Turpentine
  • Gasoline
  • Kerosene
  • Gasoline/Oil Mix 
Toxics
  • CFL Bulbs
  • Rat Poison/Insecticides
  • Extinguishers
  • Mercury/Ni-Cad Batteries 
 Reactives
  • Pool Chemicals
  • Strong Chemicals
 Electronics
  • Computer Hardware
  • TV /Phones/Cameras
  • Copiers/Fax Machines
  • VCRs/Radios/Wires
 Fats/Oils/Grease

 Latex/water-based paints will be accepted.  Disposal Fee: $1.00 per can
