 VIew 2019 Resident Letter

Dear Resident,

The City of Westerville provides leaf pick up service to the community in order to help remove fallen leaves and reduce the amount of debris getting into our storm sewers.

In order to help the City be environmentally sensitive, please place your leaves in the tree lawn area and not in the street storm gutters.  Leaves left in the storm gutter not only pollute our local streams, but often end up clogging the catch basins, resulting in water ponding on the roads and unsafe driving conditions.  The wet and slippery leaves in the roadway themselves can also be a safety hazard for your vehicles.

Vehicles should not be parked on the street during the week your street is scheduled for pickup.  This will help provide the space needed for the leaf crews to get to the leaves.

The leaf schedule is posted on the City's Web site - - and updated weekly.  You may also call the Service Department at 901-6740 with any questions.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
