The Records section is the primary support unit of the Westerville Division of Police. Records technicians provide assistance not only to Division personnel, but to the public as well. Duties include disseminating reports, record checks, bike registrations, medication disposal, impound releases, expedite non-emergency calls, assisting visitors, and processing evidence. Records staff also maintain the Division's information line, process payroll reports, perform matron duties, and facilitate surveys.
The Records section also provides copies of police reports to the public. The first 20 pages are free; each additional page is 5 cents. Please contact (614) 901-6450 with any questions.
The Westerville Division of Police offers fingerprinting services to people who live or work within the Westerville Police jurisdiction, or those who attend Otterbein University. A photo I.D. is required to process any requests.
- When: The 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (excluding holidays/observed holidays)
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Scanned prints (Web Check) - $25 for BCI/FBI
- Rolled Prints - $10 for the 1st and 2nd cards (please provide cards), $10 for each additional card
- Residents should register their bicycles with the Westerville Division of Police. Bicycle registration is FREE and can be completed in-person or online.
