There are many ways to reduce your chance of becoming a victim.  Criminals often target homes, businesses, and vehicles that are vulnerable and possess the lowest risk. The majority of burglaries involved unlocked structures/vehicles and open garages/windows. It is essential to help protect your community by reporting any suspicious activity as quickly as possible.

                                                             Reporting suspicious activity:

Call the non-emergency phone number: (614) 882-7444 and provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • Type of crime
  • Location
  • Description of suspect(s) or vehicle(s)
  • Direction of travel
  • Stay on the phone with the dispatcher until they tell you that you can hang up

If you arrive at your home or business and find it has been burglarized, DO NOT enter. Call the police immediately and go to a secure area.

For more info, contact Officer John Jeffries at (614) 901-6472.
