Blockwatch enlists the participation of citizens in cooperation with the police to reduce crime in our neighborhoods. This involves citizens getting to know each other and working together in a program of mutual assistance; citizens being trained to recognize and report suspicious activity and the implementation of crime prevention techniques. With this training and guidance from police, a Watch can become a committed team, working on safety concerns within the neighborhoods as well as the community.

Crime Update Registration:

The Westerville Division of Police will routinely send  Crime Updates to registered users via email. The updates provide users with a summary of incidents that have occurred within the city that required a police response. Due to the volume of calls for service, we do not include all of the incidents in the crime update. You can also email if you have any questions about incidents.
