The City is honoring the federal payment and filing extension (from April 15 to July 15). The state of Ohio is also following the extension.

    Due to public health concerns related to COVID-19, the City has canceled extended Income Tax filing hours and walk-in assistance options. Options for filing returns are listed below.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Your 2019 Westerville Income Tax Return is due Wednesday, July 15. The City offers free filing assistance. To help ensure you can receive assistance before the deadline, please contact the Income Tax Division no later than June 26. 

The Westerville Income Tax Division is charged with the collection, audit and enforcement of the two (2.00) percent municipal income tax pursuant to the Westerville City Code. To see the code, click here.
