The City of Westerville - Electric Division employs a team of metering professionals. The metering team is responsible for maintaining all meters within the city including the physical and technological aspects of the system. The team completed the installation of nearly 17,000 advanced meters in 2017 and continues to maintain, upgrade and evaluate the advanced metering system. Customers are encouraged to call the Electric Division with questions related to meter bases, meter boxes or electric meters. Only Electric Division staff members are permitted to cut meter seals.
