Emergency Alert Portal
The Westerville Communications Division utilizes the Cassidian GeoCast communications tool. Alerts from this system are based on true emergencies, such as disaster notification, public safety information and/or alerts pertaining to missing children, hazardous spills and major power outages. Content is provided by voice message or text, depending on the preferences selected during registration. When utilized for incidents, you will see the number (614) 901-6850 appear on your caller ID.

Safe Call

Safe Call is another program that is offered using a different program in which daily phone calls are made to the homebound, elderly or other person(s) in need of daily care to confirm their well being. If assistance is needed, Police, Fire or EMS units are sent to help. Click on the Safe Call tab in the left-hand navigation to learn more about this program.

Utmost discretion is used with the system, and names and phone numbers are not given out to anyone outside the City of Westerville.
