The City of Westerville has announced a citywide residential Fiber-to-the-Home solution in partnership with Cincinnati-based altafiber. Construction begins in Westerville neighborhoods in September.

What to Know About Construction
- Property Markings: Painted lines represent utility locates required by law (811) before digging.
- Access Rights: Work is performed within existing utility easements or rights-of-way for which altafiber maintains legal permits.
- Restoration: altafiber is committed to restoring yards to pre-construction conditions, including sowing grass seed. Residents are responsible for watering new seed to ensure growth.
- Personal Infrastructure: Residents should mark sprinkler systems or invisible fences with flags or paint to help contractors avoid damage.
