The Governor’s Office and Ohio Department of Health continue to advise us that social distancing is key to reducing risk of contagion of COVID-19. Large gatherings (more than 10 people) remain prohibited by ODH.

Today, Westerville and other Central Ohio communities accepted the recommendation from the Central Ohio Mayors and Managers Association (COMMA) and Franklin County Township Association (FCTA) to cancel group activities and fireworks for the 4th of July.

Westerville is working closely with the Rotary Club of Westerville, who produces the 4th of July events, to consider if a celebration later in the year is feasible. Future event opportunities will be announced.
