City Clerk of Council Sara Yinger recently earned the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC), which is awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).

The CMC designation is awarded to municipal clerks who fulfill rigorous educational criteria and demonstrate substantial contributions to their local government, community and state.

Founded in 1947, IIMC is a non-profit organization with 14,000 members throughout the United States and16 other countries and is committed to the enhancement of municipal services through educational opportunities.
