City Hall Cupola, Roof Repairs
Work is underway to repair the roof and cupola atop Westerville City Hall, 21 S. State St. The cupola itself was removed for repairs overnight on Monday, May 13. The structure will remain on-site during repairs and will be placed back on the building.
Access to the building will be maintained at all times during this process and two ADA parking spots will be maintained in the City Hall parking lot. Work will take place from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The process requires the replacement of the underlying support structure and roofing materials beneath the cupola. Expect to see scaffolding on the east and west sides of City hall, fencing for safety and heavy equipment in the area.
The cupola was originally built in 1986 when City Hall was last expanded. Construction is expected to be complete in July.
