Mike Heyeck, Council Chair
Westerville resident since 1980. Council member since 1993. Prior to being elected to City Council, served 
Westerville since 1986 on Traffic Commission, Visitors and Convention Bureau and Planning Commission. Family: wife Fernanda, daughter Laura, sons Jim and Rick. Education: B.S. and M.S., Electrical Engineering, NJ Institute of Technology; M.B.A., University of Dayton; Graduate, The Executive Program at Darden, UVA; Graduate, AEP Management Development Program at OSU. Occupation: Senior Vice President, Transmission, American Electric Power.
Other community service: COTA Board, Cable Commission, Recreation Advisory Board, Fire Advisory Committee. Most memorable City Council accomplishments: Westerville roadway system development, balanced tax base with Westar development, improved EMS and fire response times, and supporting our Troops as Mayor.
