Columbia Gas Riser Safety Program in Westerville

Columbia Gas of Ohio is currently working in Westerville to replace equipment called risers on their gas meters that may be prone to failure.  The riser connects the customer service line to the meter.

Customers do NOT need to call to make special arrangements.  You will (or may have) received a door hanger from Columbia Gas when they will be in your area.  Gas will be shut off to the home during this repair, and they will need access to the customer’s home or building in order to restore gas service once the work is complete.  They will also check for leaks and safe operation of gas-burning appliances.
