Planning Commission Recommends Approval of Alternative Energy Systems Code Amendment

At its November meeting, the Westerville Planning Commission considered and recommended adoption of standards for alternative energy systems such as wind turbines and solar panels. A draft of the proposed language is available for viewing in PDF format here. A hard copy is also available at the front desk of the Planning and Development Department located at 64 E Walnut St. The proposal requires City Council approval in order for the standards to take effect. Council will consider the proposal at a future meeting.
