Permanent Site for Household Hazardous Waste

Residents will now be able to dispose of their household hazardous waste anytime of the year.  The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) has contracted with Environmental Enterprises Inc. to provide a permanent drop-off site.

The site is located at 1249 Essex Ave, corner of Essex and 8th. 

Hours of operation are:
Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
Friday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Items accepted are the same as for the mobile collection sites.  For a list of acceptable/unacceptable items visit SWACO's website at  www.swaco.org.

SWACO will continue to provide their mobile collection sites.
