City of Westerville earns national procurement honors

The City of Westerville has earned the prestigious Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award presented by the National Purchasing Institute, an association of government purchasing professionals. 

The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® (AEP), founded by NPI in 1995, is a national award program designed to benchmark excellence in public procurement organizations.  The City of Westerville achieved high scores in the areas of innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes.  Westerville joins many other public agencies nationwide in receiving this prestigious honor. 

The AEP award is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), and the Institute for Supply Management (ISM).
