The Westerville Senior Center, conveniently located just east of the intersection of Main Street and Cleveland Avenue, is situated in a park-like setting along the banks of the Alum Creek and provides many unique programs and services designed for today's seniors. The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for people 55-years-old or older and their spouses.
Senior Center activities include travel, social programs, sports & fitness, creative arts, health & wellness, continuing education, special interests and support services.
Bi-monthly activity schedules are mailed to members and are published weekly in the Westerville News and Public Opinion and Westerville This Week. Come with us and experience all of the benefits our programs and services can provide including improved health, lower stress, new skills, greater independence, lasting friendships and memories.
Transportation is provided to members residing in the corporate city limits of Westerville for programs at the Senior Center, Community Center (as available), shopping trips to grocery stores and shopping malls, medical appointments within the Westerville School District and trips to other destinations which are planned by the Senior Center staff.
The staff and volunteers of the Senior Center believe that a smile and a hug should be an essential part of everyone's day. At the Senior Center, you won't just find helping hands, you'll also find helping hearts.
