Fire Station 113

Station 113, located at 355 North Spring Road, houses an ALS Engine, a Squad and Boat. It is staffed by four or more fire fighters and was built in 1998. This station was constructed to meet the growing needs of that area of the City.

  


Station 113 Equipment

Engine 113 is a 1996 Pierce Saber. It has a 1,500 gpm Waterous pump, a 500 gallon water tank and carries more than 2,250 feet of hose. Engine 113 is always staffed by two paramedics and is equipped with enough paramedic equipment to allow it to provide Advance Life Support or paramedic services at an emergency scene until a medic arrives to transport the patient.

Squad 113 is a 2000 Osage Ambulance.  It is a basic patient stabilization and transport unit carrying bandages, splints, an automatic external defibrillator, and various equipment essential to stabilizing a patient's neck and spine following an automobile accident or fall.

Boat 113 is a 16' aluminum center console boat powered by a 25 hp Mercury outboard. It is used for rescue in swift water and the district's reservoirs.
